DJ Home, is a Hungarian musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. As many of other musicians, he started to deal with music relatively early, at the age of 11. According to his own testimnony the first record of Brooklyn Bounce was a starting-point in his life which influenced both his life and his special hobby: collecting rare and exclusive records and maxi CDs, which probably became a lifelong passion for him. In the beginning he was only a passionate listener of the line-up called Danubius Hot Mix which was made by Dj Junior and McFly, but later he started to buy the records of the hits he heart in the line-up. At this time he chiefly acquired the records of Sony, Edel, Dos or Die (i.a. the publisher of Aquagen) and Zyx. His very first lp was a Strike record, the U Sure Do published by Fresh Records in 1994, and later by Edel Records in 1995. At this time his favourites was: Stefan Grühnwald , ATB, Thomas Kukula (Dj Red 5), DJ Disco, Klubbheads. The 7th of november 2000 was a historical moment in his life, because due to one of his musician friends his 15th birthday is alliable to his coming-out. The party succeeded so well that the owner of the club made him an offer which he gladly accepted: for 8 months he became the resident of the place right until the shutdown of the club which happened in August 2001. Dj Home was so passionate for music at this time that he bought his very first Dj Mixer (Pioneer DJM 400) and two CD Player with jog dial (Pioneer CDJ100s).After October 2001 he became the guest of not clubs but parties, which he successfully conducted whith the above mentioned equipment. Lots of parties resulted a lot of recognition and personal relationships, therefore he acted in a way, nobody expected: because of a private-life crisis and other undesired matters he stopped public performance (and parties as well) in may 2002.After a short break, he started to listen to the most popular night-show in Hungary, the Roxy Club Sandwich, which was of course the common line-up of Náksi and Brunner. During listening to this line-up he got to know, and took a liking to the records of Pulsedriver who left Polidor in 2000 and founded an own publisher (Aqualoop Records). The last Saturday of August 2006 was the day, which meant the opportunity of a personal meeting with the members of Aqualoop Records: Pulsedriver, Rocco vs. Bass-T, Ziggy X, DJ Lee & Adam Christian (booking manager). The list of DJ Home’s favourite publishers has changed in the last few years. Recently he likes buying and mixing the records of the following publishers:Drop Out, Zooland, Aqualoop, Alphabet City, Promo, Mental Madness, Andorfine, Kontor, Yawa…Just to mention some of the most important publishers. Dj Home recites some artist in order to express his deep respect to the past and present outstanding members of the musician community. His favourites from the past: the great rock-legend Bill Haley, or the dare-devil of Sun Records; Elvis Presley, who became known with the support of Tom Parker and the best selling solo artist in the history of music (more than 400 million sold records only in the USA). Some other favourites: John Philips (the writer of the song of Scott McKenzie and the Shadows among others), Giorgio Moroder, Ami Stewart; Dave Clarke Five, Mannfred Mann’s (Eart Band later); Frank Farian, the founder of the style eurodance in 1978 and the founder of Boney M, Frank Farian; the uncrowned king of instrumental rock, Sandy Nelson, the Beatles and many others. Some artists, who performed in the 90s and nowadays: Andre Tannenberger & Woody Van Eyden (Sq1, Re-flex); Gigi D’Agostino the author of the mediterranean subcutural music style; Lady Tom; Cosmic Baby; DJ Ton T.B.; Ron Van Den Beuken; C.J. Stone (Bad Babit Boys,Potatoheadz); Stefan Grünwald; Dennis Bohn & Matthias Menck (Brooklyn Bounce); Matt Darey; Mauro Picotto; Da Hool; Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim); the king of house, Robbie Riviera, Dj Disco, Klubbheads Rocco and many others.During the last 7 years. DJ Home worked in ten different online radio stations as a broadcaster, not to mention the fact that he worked as an editor for 4 months in a big commercial radio in Budapest. Earlier, he served in an independent record label, and he was a guest of many well-known and less prestigous clubs therewith. Since April 2000 he shows up with a Spring editon and Winter edition mix as a reminiscence for the bigest hits of the year. The B-day mix, which he made in the 7th of november 2006 appeared in the line-up of one of the most famous hungarian online radio stations. In the beginning of 2009 he got a job in an FM radio station in Dunaújváros, where he started his own line-up, the Prestige Night Radio Show™. From the beginning of April, putting aside the dance, dancecore and hardance styles he tasted of the world of hardstyle, what will be perceptible in his summer sets…
